In the process of bridging the gap between the world of education and the job market, through bos biz services we work on connecting company representatives and young educated individuals in an innovative way.
The goal of the Youth2Business event is to give young people the opportunity to, through talking in small groups with directors, HR company directors and directors of other relevant sectors, who can, with their experience and positions, contribute most to their professional development, share experiences and get information significant for their careers.
So far, six Youth2Business events have been organized, with the participation of over 250 young people, who were either in their final year of studies or they had just graduated. The companies who have participated in the Y2B event so far are: KPMG, NELT, Microsoft, Victoria Group, Societe General, Foreign Investors Council, Hemofarm, Law Office Karanović i Nikolić, Gi Group, Ovation BBDO, Bambi, IBM, Philip Morris International, Atlantic Grupa, Nedeljnik Vreme, Polimark Group, Delta Holding, Direct Media, Confluence Property Management, Telenor, Sitel, Ball Packaging Europe and Coca Colla Hellenic.
Through six Youth2Business events, BOS has enabled 30 company representatives and over 250 young people to meet and connect with each other. What best describes the goal of this event achieves is the following story: a young engineer, via a short questionnaire, said that a 20 minute talk with a certain company representative meant more to him than one academic year, and then he met with the company representative who gave him valuable career advice.
Belgrade Open School has, through the cooperation with the Ernst&Young company, participated in the realization of the project ‘’Your career starts here’’, and two students of programme "Future Studies" became finalists of this challenging competition. BOS also made a special contribution as a member of the jury for the final competition in solving the case stud ‘’Learn Today – Lead Tomorrow’’, which is organized by the Ernst&Young company within their development strategy.
