Description
Skills of public speaking in front of different target groups and a good public speaking performance make up one of the most basic components of business success. Though public speaking is not the most pleasant thing people want to do, for managers in the highest positions, this is a daily activity. Personal communication skills are often a matter of self-confidence – self-confidence and the belief that they can express their opinion or message clearly and convincingly. How to keep the audience’s attention, how to stay calm and secure when performing in front of the most demanding audience, develop a personal style, are all skills which require continuous improvement and upgrading. Through talks and guided sessions, you can achieve an impressive public speaking performance in accordance with the speaker’s personal style.
The goal of the programme is for the participants to, through individuals sessions, complete and shape their personal style and design a public speaking performance which best represents them, their company and the topic presented. The individual programme consists of one-on-one work with one of the lecturers through consultations for specific situations, and in accordance with the needs of the manager in question.
Imagine you have a public speaking performance which is going live on national television. You look confident and relaxed even though there is a host waiting for you, ready to examine you like the strictest professor or superior. You look calm, as though you’re having coffee and chatting with a neighbor. You are capable of formulating your message clearly, while at the same time, providing argument-based answers for every difficult or uncomfortable question very efficiently and effectively. Your message on the other hand, is very media-friendly, so even if you are interrupted, you still manage to get it broadcast just as you wanted it. The key items are: planning, relaxation and self-confidence – all things which can be learned.
