Description
How we live, work, communicate, gain knowledge, has been changing at an extreme rate in the last ten or so years, one never before seen in the history of mankind. Today, the total amount of information in the world doubles every 11 hours, and in ten years, this will happen every 11 seconds. We have reached the phase where ''technological avalanches'' have become the rule rather than the exception. Nothing is long term anymore! How is it possible then to develop a strategy which will answer all these changes? We have to decide whether we will ride the wave of changes or (contrary to that) become completely washed over by what is happening. Change management includes a systematic and structured approach to creating sustainable behavioural changes of employees within a single organization. Various resistances are immanent to the change management process. The reasons for resistance are numerous, as are the ways of overcoming them. Resistance is, first and foremost, a result of the fear of the unknown and experiencing change as a threat and possible source of insecurity.
