Description
A poorly prepared public speaking performance of managers in higher positions is not something you forget easily, because it mostly goes without saying that a manager position carries with it more than just competence in a certain area. The corporate audience is sophisticated, very judgmental – it evaluates not only what the manager is saying, but how they say it as well.
The goal of this training is for the participants to learn how to structure their speech, choose the best style and develop multiple communication styles which can then be adapted to different target groups.
Educational outcomes
Participants will learn:
• How to be seen exactly as they want to be seen – relaxed, objective and confident
• How to formulate the underlying message of the performance so that it is concise and clear regardless of the topic’s complexity, and how to keep it throughout the performance
• How to control their breathing and their voice and how to improve their diction with specific exercises
• How to structure their speech and make a presentation plan
• How to design a stage performance that fits their personal style and the topic presented
• How to prepare for ‘’devil’s advocates’’ and control their performance in unexpected situations
Who is the training intended for?
Managers who have different kinds of public speaking and performances in front of different target groups.
Training duration:
The training lasts two days, i.e. eight 90-minute blocks.
