Realized in-house training "Project cycle management" for Kolping society of Serbia

The Belgrade Open School has created and implemented an in-house training on the topic "Project cycle management - program and financial management of projects in the phase after receiving the project" for the representatives of the Kolping Society of Serbia. The training was held Vladimir Pavlovic, public policy advisor, and Jelena Babic, project manager on May 15th and 16th in Novi Sad.The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with all phases of program and financial management of the project during the training. The aim of the training was to enhance and develop new knowledge and skills for managing the program and financial aspects of projects in the project cycle phase after obtaining the project and signing the contract with the donor.

The establishment of the necessary procedures for project management, activities, project team and the implementation of these procedures were just some of the topics discussed during the training. Working with partners and donors was an important segment of this training, bearing in mind that this is one of the most significant apps when it comes to project management. Developing soft skills such as planning, communication, setting clear goals and desired project results were an integral part of the training itself, and all these skills are necessary for the successful implementation of projects.

During the second day, the participants had the opportunity to hear more about the successful financial management of the project, on effective financial reporting and budget management. All of the above topics have been placed in the context of the Project Cycle Management, which, among other things, includes the planning, organization and coordination process, with a particular focus on the importance of monitoring and evaluating the process and project outcomes.

The Belgrade Open School offers a wide range of knowledge and skills training for civil society organizations, public administration and the business sector in order to improve their capacities and human resource development.
