First Share&Envision event on topic Sharpening Leadership Skills was organized by Belgrade Open School (BOS) from 10th to 12th of September in Sunčana Reka.
This event gathered managers and directors from companies such as Zlatiborac, Delta Holding, Credit Agricole bank, Vojvođanska bank, Heta Asset Resolution, Elsys Eastern Europe. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences through interesting sessions and discussions in order to come up with new ideas that could lead to personal and professional development.
Tanja Milovanović, BOS Business Development Manager pointed out that after more than twenty years of experience and fascinating results in identifying future leaders, BOS uses its expertize for improving business sector.
Main aim of Sharpening Leadership Skills is to place new role models for future generations of leaders in business sector. That new role model of leader is businessman who is trying to improve self-confidence by constant learning as well as working on personal and professional development. The one with awareness about social conditions and opportunities for improvement of the society.
“Good as the biggest enemy of excellence” was main motto that gathered proven leaders, well-positioned managers who contribute to development of their companies by developing its own capacities.
Through three creative leadership sessions with Tomislav Pavličić (executive coach and leadership adviser) participants had opportunity to exchange experiences about team leading, challenges and opportunities that go hand in hand with manager positions. Also participants had chance to get known with new trends in recruitment, leading teams, but also strategies for motivating employees.
Philosopher and communicologist Zorica Tomić, discussed with participants about things that make leader recognizable. She gave one philosophic perception on leadership and business and pointed out that competition has sense only if you do not underestimate your concurrent.
Through discussion with Peca Popović, participants had opportunity to learn more about people who, together with Peca, participated in creating music industry in Yugoslavia. Peca presented his gest, pianist and singer Iva Ikon, who performed few songs for participants.
Jovana Tripunović, consultant for social media in BOS, held a session about companies and role of social media in business, and she pointed out importance of choosing right policy that employees should follow when it comes to social media usage.
Honor to close event had Tomislav Mihajlović, CMO in Nordeus with story about company which started in rented apartment, with enthusiasm and hard work of three programmers. Nordeus is now recognized as one of most preferably employer in Serbia and region.
Participants and lecturers were awarded with certificates.
Belgrade Open School will organize one more Share&Envision event at the end of November.
