Description
Project planning and management, though it originated from technical disciplines, over time became multidisciplinary. Project planning and management include several crucial elements. In order to carry out a project well and with achieved expected goals and results, it is necessary to make a project realization plan in advance and make an assessment of available resources: funds, risks and people involved in the project realization process. Developed planning skills, good communication, implementing projects in accordance with the set goals and planned results, are essential for the successful realization of a project. PCM puts a great emphasis on monitoring and evaluation. The basic idea of project cycle management is that the quality of the project is gradually increased, and that is carried from one project to the next.
The goal of this training is for the participants to gain the practical knowledge and skills necessary for the process of project management. Familiarizing themselves with all the phases and constituent elements of this cycle will enable the participants to efficiently and effectively complete a good distribution of resources, expenses and risk assessment, to implement project activities before the set deadlines, to efficiently conduct monitoring and evaluation so that the project itself fulfills the set goals. Apart from managing the project throughout all the phases of project management, it is very important that the project manager also has knowledge in the field of human resources. Quality human resources are invaluable to the organization of a project. That is the reason why it is so important to keep the team’s motivation up, and encourage the team to give their best.
