Diplomatic Communication

Description
In the time of increasingly common business at the international level, the need for communication and negotiation between employees and foreign partners is also increasing. Communication skills, tact, awareness of relevant circumstances and protocols, the culture and customs of your interlocutor are just some of the necessary characteristics of diplomatic communication, and they greatly impact the outcomes of business ventures. Knowing the different strategies and techniques of diplomatic negotiation allows speed and efficacy in handling crisis situations, as does continuity in everyday communication.

The goal of this training is to highlight the key strategies, tactics and techniques of diplomatic communication, and the possibility of applying these in the business sector. The participants will be further explained the ways of increasing work efficacy and achieving success in diplomatic communication and negotiation.

Educational outcomes

Participants will learn:
• What are the key strategies and techniques of diplomatic communication and negotiation, especially in crisis situations
• 
How to use diplomacy in a broader sense, that is, how to find ways to avoid conflicts in business while, at the same time, preserving your own interests
• 
How to communicate and negotiate more sharply, without raising your voice and abandoning the diplomacy protocol
• 
Why solid preparation and a self-critical viewpoint is important for diplomatic communication and negotiation

Who is the training intended for?
Managers who wish to improve their diplomatic communication and negotiation skills, especially those who do business with foreign partners.

Training duration:
The training lasts two days, i.e. six 90-minute blocks.
