Students2Students: Danish 101

Are you wondering what Students2Students means? It means that Future Studies are made up of great people who come from different faculties and bring with them a multitude of interests, passions and knowledge from different fields that inspire them. The idea of this unit is to provide students with the opportunity to be in the role of lecturers and to interest other students in their lectures.

The first lecture within the S2S program was given by Sanja Stefanjesko with the lecture Danish 101. As a philologist who already has translated books from Danish and Norwegian, Sanja wanted to say more about the Danish language, its history and the culture of Denmark itself. The students learned the most basic phrases of the Danish language and were inspired to continue learning. Dear Sanja, tusind tak! :)

What precedes the student lectures is the Students2Students Pitch Evening and this is the first phase in these peer to peer lectures, where future lecturers present their ideas in the form of short pitches. After presentations on the broadest topics from mushroom research, the impact of new digital media on traditional culture and music, artificial intelligence, curiosities related to EU integration, structural economics, language and culture studies, other students voted on the most interesting topics they would like to learn more. Thus, the 28th generation learned the basics of the Danish language, and will soon have the opportunity to hear a lecture by our Lazar Ivanović on the topic "New Structural Economic Theory: Critical Rethinking".

The Students2Students lecture program is part of the extracurricular activities on the one-year non-formal education program Studies of the Future, which the Belgrade Open School has been organizing for 28 years. The program includes four modules of lectures on a variety of topics, internship program, Alumni2Students mentoring program, preparation of the final paper and numerous extracurricular activities.
