In addition to mandatory classes, students of Future Studies Programme of Belgrade Open School have the opportunity to participate in free activities. In order to connect students to a coherent group, encourage socialization, better communication and coordination among students Belgrade Open School encourages and helps various student activities. We intend to organize at least one social event every month.

Teamwork Winter School

The Winter School of the Belgrade Open School is dedicated to teamwork and is organized during the winter break between the two semesters. BOS team organizes workshops, training and simulations about teamwork for their students. The basic techniques of teamwork and its practical development provide students with the necessary knowledge in orientation and finding a role in any group in which they can be found whether in the future profession and especially in social work. One of the goals of BOS is to create an elite group of young people who will find their place in a wider social environment and changes regarding the achievements of a democratic society.

PSYCHOLOGICAL WORKSHOPS

Goal

The purpose of psychological workshops is to get students acquainted with basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. In this way, the acquired knowledge and skills can help participants to get to know themselves better and thus better understand other people. Discovering themselves and others provides the opportunity for students to improve their lives, communication, more constructively face problems and get to know each other and connect as a group. The workshops are based on active participation of all participants, and topics will be chosen according to the needs and interests of the participants.

Teaching methods

Topics and teaching methods of psychological workshops are based on the principles of rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). The workshop has educational character and helps the mental health and stability of BOS students.
