On February 19, 2021, the second book promotion within the BOS Talk Room was held. The ethnomusicological study Gusle female players and female players on traditional instruments was presented during a 90-minute talk.

The discussion was opened by Marinko Vucinic, BOS Assembly President, who stressed the importance of a book like this. Zoran Hamovic from Clio publishing pointed out that the study presents in an exceptional way an authentic and singular way of life. According to him, the author managed to open several important questions about the connection between identity and music.

Tatjana Nikolic, Faculty of Dramatic Arts and student of the XXIII BOS generation, commended the author's approach to the subject, which deepens our understanding of the role and history of female gusle players and female players on traditional instruments, while of the same time offers a critical reflection on its academic discipline.

The author of the book Iva Nenic, Faculty of Musical Art and student of the X BOS generation, explained her inspiration for this study, her research process and touched upon the specific historical discourse regarding female music players, which changed according to the wider perception of the idealized female behaviour and role in the society.
