What is the Future of the Kosovo Dialogue? The Third Panel of the BOS Political Triptych

The moderator of the panel was Mladen Mrdalj, political scientist and director of the International Center for Governance Studies. In his questions, he touched upon the issues of Kosovo's energetical resources, displaced persons from the region, and possible solutions in the forms of the border correction or comprehensive agreement.

Dragisa Mijacic, director of the Institute for Territorial Economic Development, said that the crucial period for the signing od such agreement will be between the Kosovo presidential elections and June 2021. Regarding the US policy towards the issue, he expects a continuation of existing policies.

Professor Milos Kovic from the Philosophical Faculty concurred that the US will not drastically change its previous positions on the matter. He stressed the lack of the government's support for the Serbian enclaves in Kosovo and pointed out that Russia is the power whose interests are currently most aligned with those of Serbia.

With this panel, the BOS political triptych is closed. The topic of the first discussion was the results of the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, and the second focused on the US presidential elections.
