Oscars on BOS: Second movie night for the XXVII Generation

Students of the XXVII Generation of the Future Studies on February 15, 2020, watched the South Korean film Parasite, winner of four Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The film that marked the year behind us left a great impression on the students of the XXVII Generation. In the follow-up discussion the main themes of the film, such as social inequality, the position of an individual in a capitalist system, questions of moral choices, and readiness to break the law for the sake of one's family. The film is a thought-provoking study of these and other issues that plague modern society, especially in the context of the fast and constant changes the future brings. On the other hand, these same changes open up possibilities for personal advancement and promotion. The question Parasite asks is: at what price?

BOS Movie night is a traditional extra-curriculum activity of the BOS Future Studies programme, a one year programme of nonformal education that includes multidisciplinary knowledge and skills modules, Alumni2Students mentoring programme, internship programme, final project, and many side activities.
