The Future Studies programme of the Belgrade Open School starts on October 7, 2019 when the 27th generation of the selected students will embark on and explore different scenarios of the future trends and their implications on society and individuals.
The Future Studies programme is one year programme of nonformal education based on multidisciplinary knowledge and skills modules, Alumni2Students mentoring programme, internship programme, and a final project.
The goal of the programme is to introduce selected students to trends and challenges the modern world faces in an innovative way. Through panel discussions, lectures, workshops, Skype conferences and informal hangouts, students discover and learn about future trends in the contemporary world to become actors of positive change in our society.
The programme was launched for the first time in 1993 and by now 1269 students of the Belgrade universities sucessfully completed it. They are now a part of the BOS Alumni Network that continues the mission of building society based on freedom, knowledge, and innovation.
