Strengthening the Team Spirit of XXV Generation with the New Knowledge

School of teamwork for the XXV generation of the educational program "Future Studies" was held from March 30th of March to 1st of April, 2018 in the Fruska Gora mountain.School of teamwork was opened by a workshop of Milorad Bjeletic, the Executive Director of the Belgrade Open School, where students talked about what the team is, what builds it, what are advantages and disadvantages of working in a team, and what are the characteristics of a good team. The first day ended with a traditional Mafia game that, in a humorous character, enhances the skill of representing and presenting ideas. At the workshop that followed the second day, they talked about the different roles that exist within the team and the importance of each of these roles. A special part of this workshop tests by which students have gained insight on what role they take in a team and how they contribute to it.

The rest of the day, students spent with Vladimir Pavicevic, discussing various aspects that contribute to the formation of a good team, and a healthy team spirit was awakened by a long walk in nature and competitions in different games that require teamwork and competitive spirit.

The evening hours of the second day were reserved for Vesna Djukic's workshop, the general director of the Belgrade Open School, with whom students, through the simulation of the given situations, worked on improving their negotiating skills. On the last day, another workshop was held where students were taught how to properly communicate potentially conflicting situations arising from the representation of different interests, but also how to present and represent their team in the right way.

School of teamwork is one of the most interesting activities of the program which additionally connects students and strengthens their friendships, but also provides them with the knowledge that will definitely be useful to them on their further career path.

After the School of teamwork, students return to regular activities on the program, where many interesting lectures, psychological workshops, as well as visits to cultural sites and institutions, are expected.
