A2S program: XXV Generation meets their Mentors

On Thursday, November 30th, 2017, in the premises of the Belgrade Open School, an introduction workshop for mentors and students was held within the Alumni2Students mentoring program of the educational program "Future Studies". The mentoring program is being implemented for the third year in a row and aims to link students of the current generation with selected BOS alumni. The mentoring program is designed so that all students of the XXV generation get the support of older and more experienced alumni who represent their career counsellor to whom the student can count on about all the dilemmas and problems he/she encounters on his personal, professional and academic path. Besides sharing his knowledge and experience, mentor learns from a student about all the ideas and trends of younger generations. Through the cooperation of mentors and students on the A2S program, new friendships are established in the Alumni organization and that encourages a better and more intensive interaction of BOS's former and current students.

This year, the workshop was held by the Programme Manager on the Improvement of Employability programme of the Belgrade Open School, Jelena Manic Radoicic, who presented the mentoring program goals to mentors and students and also introduced them to the ways of their cooperation and all the necessary details regarding the mentoring program.

This program represents another BOS activity that enables students to develop and improve with the selected alumni mentors who have already been "in their shoes", but also the opportunity to progress and learn from the experiences that mentor shares with the student.
