The Belgrade Open School held its last session in its premises on Monday, May 8th, within the one-year program of non-formal education "Future Studies". Students of the XXIV generation had the opportunity to go through an unusual process of personal and team development with the rhythms of the Argentine Tango with the representatives of the “Tango Natural” Association.
Lectures on one-year educational program "Future Studies" was completed with the last regular gathering of the XXIV generation students. Selected students of Belgrade universities have successfully passed through four independent modules of knowledge and skills. Students, twice a week, had the opportunity to discuss with prominent experts in the field of personal development, international relations, European integration, sustainable development and many other areas relevant to the formation of a new elite, ready for the challenges posed by the trends of the development of a global society.
This process was crowned on Monday, May 8th, by a special atmosphere of the last session, held by Darko Dozic and Sonja Zivanovic, representatives of the “Tango Natural” organization. This brilliant duo introduced a completely new note to the "Future Studies" program and enriched it with its charm and professionalism. Relaxing with the receptive Latin American melodies, our students have learned through the movement about the importance of personal space, keeping the body in personal, professional and interpersonal relationships, as well as adequate aggression in behavior, with mutual listening and communication.
Working and socializing with students of the XXIV generation is certainly not ending. "Future Studies" continue with the realization of the remaining program segments. We expect meetings with mentors, renowned professionals from various fields of social engagement, work on the final project in the form of academic essay or policy paper, as well as informal gatherings, visits to cultural institutions of Belgrade and numerous other activities.
