DAUS: Special Lecture "Newly Composed Folk Music in the Former Yugoslavia - a Cultural Phenomenon and Its Social Context"
Mr Alempijevic tried to provide students with answers on questions “What is considered to be popular music today?” and “How newly composed folk music appeared on the music scene?”. His lecture was based on understanding of social framework within which this music was created and that was period of socialist and post-socialist society. His lecture was also based on song themes, singers and their communication with public.
