- The publication of students’ final papers of the Belgrade Open School, beside of its special characteristics, show that Future studies fully justify its existence. They show the main purpose of Future studies – the recognition and understanding of the main global trends in the development of the modern world and in the fields of economics, social relations, information society, culture and education, demography, European integration. That is why the Collection express our desire to keep learning and critical dialogue as the main principle to understand the future that has already begun – with these words President of the Assembly of the BOS and one of the founders of the advanced undergraduate programme, Marinko Vucinic starts the new the Collection of Essays.
