On this occasion the audience was introduced to the concept of mentoring, and provided overall guidance to the work of practitioners. Later in the meeting, they discussed about the program of practice for students of the Belgrade Open School, which will be implemented from November 2015.
The internship aims to give students insight into specific working tasks and to give them a chance try themselves out in a real working environment which will enable them to define their needs when planning and developing their careers is at the stake.
Belgrade Open School has established cooperation with partner institutions and organizations in which students can do the internship program. Students as candidates, when applying for a programme, in the application form may choose between the two organizations or institutions in which they would like to realize their internship. In the academic year 2015/2016. the partners of the Belgrade Open School are: Agency Olaf & McAteer, Law Office Nikolic-Kokanovic-Otasevic, the British Council, The International and Security Affairs Centre (ISAC), the Center for the protection and assistance to asylum seekers, Heinrich Boell Foundation, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Institute for Economic Science, Weekly magazine "Vreme", Youth Portal, Commissioner for Protection of Equality, Societe General Bank, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of Government of the Republic of Serbia, Institute for Byzantine Studies, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Protector of the Citizens, Ombudsman of Serbia, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Belgrade Open School has opened a call for admission of 23rd generation of students on a one-year program "Future Studies".
