Within program of academic counseling, Belgrade open school have organized counseling and discussion with alumni of Central European University and representatives of Student Recruitment Office at CEU with the aim of presenting scholarship programs at CEU and informing students who are interested in studies on this university.
On 15th of December webinar „Meet the CEU application procedure“ took place on the premises of Belgrade open school in cooperation with representatives of CEU. On this occasion, students had the opportunity to gain information about application procedures and conditions for life and work in Budapest. Students had different questions for representatives of Central European University, first of all, about documentation necessary for preparation of the application. Students were also interested in working methods of CEU as well as advice on how to complete all students’ assignments on time.
Representatives of CEU proved themselves as excellent counselors who are capable to provide all necessary and precise information, supported by updated facts regarding life and work conditions in Budapest. Interested students got the contacts which they can use to seek answers to their questions and uncertainties about admission requirements and later after competition of application process.
Another event aimed at informing interested students about application procedures was a presentation of the scholarship program at CEU and concealing with alumni from this university which took place on 28th of December in BOS.
On this occasion, Ana Stevanovic Zdravev academic counselor from BOS, Sara Pendjer, and coordinator of CEU alumni club in Serbia and Vukasin Neimarevic alumni of CEU discussed with students about admission and degree programs.
More than twenty present students had different questions for alumni who tried to give the best advises to students from their own experience and general knowledge of conditions at the university. During two hours session, students have shown great interest in all the details of the opening call, methods of work at university and dedication and level of commitment of professors and mentors towards students.
Students have collected the instructions about different ways of making their applications as good and attractive as possible so that it can fulfill the criteria of university and admission board. Alumni have shared all practical information regarding living condition in the capital of Hungary, campus, and cost of living.
The application for master and doctoral studies at the Central European University is open until February 1, 2018, with an application for studies, students first apply for a master or doctoral program, and then a scholarship given by this university.
