In order to achieve its specific goals, the Belgrade Open School implements the following activities:

• Informing the candidates about the possibilities for professional development and studying abroad;
• Individual and group counseling regarding the selection of the higher education institution and the preparation of applications for studying abroad;
• Presenting international study programs to the higher education institutions and at various education fairs;
• Conducting research in the field of academic development and the development of educational policies;
• Strengthening capacities of the Open Society Foundation and Central European University alumni networks through meetings and engagement in activities and projects;
• Administrating scholarship programs for:
  • Master and PhD programs at Central European University in Budapest;
  • The Civil Society Scholar Awards program supported by the Open Society Foundations which represents a form of additional financial support for PhD programs in the country and abroad;
• Writing and implementing projects with an idea of encouraging the discussion within the academic community and public administration, aiming to strengthen these segments of the society.
