We actually do not understand enough about all the details when it comes to adequately protecting the environment. This large and complex area requires the active participation of all of us.
Decision makers adopt laws that impose sanctions if nature is polluted. Private companies are pioneering the development of environmentally friendly technologies. The academic community identifies problems and possible solutions. The media report on the potential risks and benefits of environmental protection. Finally, every individual has the potential to contribute to the fight for a clean environment by influencing the development of public policies. However, effective participation in decision-making can only be done if we are well informed.
In order to contribute to this important goal, we present to you our new section EcoReflector on the website zazivotnusredinu.bos.rs, within which we will provide all our readers with a simple and easy-to-understand approach to complex topics in the field of environmental protection.
Through EcoReflector, we will shed light on key concepts, legal mechanisms and reports of various domestic and foreign institutions that form the basis of environmental policies and decisions, both at the national and global level. Our goal is to inform citizens and show them how to actively participate in making decisions that will shape our future.
We plan to publish articles, guides, infographics and publications. We will cover specialized topics to clear up misconceptions and demystify overly vague terms and procedures related to environmental protection.
