The Coalition 27 will hold a press conference at the Media Center on 14 December to mark the opening of Cluster 4, which  negotiating Chapter 27 – environment and climate change is a part of. 

After the press conference, Coalition 27 will donate eight Shadow reports on Chapter 27 in Serbia to the Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic at 1pm in Nemanjina 11. These reports are prepared and issued by this network of civil society organizsations from 2014.

Coalition 27 assesses that the opening of accession negotiations within Cluster 4 and Chapter 27 is an expression of the European Union's intention to motivate Serbia to improve dialogue and make faster progress in the area of the environment, but not the result of real progress in this area. At the press conference, representatives of Coalition 27 will talk in more detail about the problems and deficiencies in this process:

Coalition 27 was founded by civil society organizations in 2014 with the aim of monitoring and contributing to the process of harmonizing and implementing Serbia's policies and regulations with the EUAcquis in the area of environment and climate change (Chapter 27). Coalition 27 issues an annual “Shadow Report” that monitors Serbia achievements in this area and provides recommendations on how to improve existing processes.
