Green Talks: All the colors of the air in Serbia

Looking into the beginning of the heating season and months in which air pollution is increased, we are organizing a panel discussion on air quality in Serbia and civil society initiatives in advocating for the solution to     this problem. The event takes place on Thursday, September 29th at 12:00 AM at the Nova Iskra place, street Cara Urosa number 18, Belgrade.

What kind of air have we been breathing during the year? Where is the Environmental Protection Agency's data? What are the consequences of impaired air quality for public health? Does the Law on Air Protection respond to real problems or is it necessary to change it? What is the role of civil society in advocating changes in public policies?

On these and other issues the Green talk will lead:

Dejan Lekić, National Environmental Association (NEA);

Mirko Popović, Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute (RERI); Prof. Dr Dragana Jovanović, pulmonologist;

Ognjan Pantic, Belgrade Open School (BOŠ);

Milenko Jovanović, National Ecological Association (NEA).

The event will be moderated by Jelena Dadić, PR of the Coalition 27, and the full program of the event will be available HERE

During the second part of the event we will talk about the experiences of local civil society organizations and their fight for clean air in Gornji Milanovac, Kraljevo and Surdulica.

To announce your presence, please fill out a brief application form via THIS link.

The Green talk is being implemented within the project "Green Incubator" by Belgrade Open School, Young Researchers of Serbia and Environmental Engineering Group with the support of the European Union.
