A panel discussion named Climate Action and COP 26 will be organized as part of the 12th edition of Green Fest, the international festival of green culture.
The discussion is scheduled for Monday, November 8, beginning at 7pm, and you can follow it via this link.
The discussion will be held at the same time as the 26th United Nations Climate Change Summit in Glasgow (COP 26), where the main topic is hot to prevent and eliminate the effects of climate change. All countries in the world have a task to set even more ambitious goals in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and make additional efforts towards the decarbonisation of the electricity and industrial sectors.
We will talk about our chances of overcoming the climate crisis and ensuring a sustainable and low-carbon future. Mirjana Jovanovic, program manager at BOS will moderate a conversation on this important topic with:
- Antoine Avignon, Program Manager for Environment and Climate Change, Delegation of the European Union to Serbia
- Aleksandar Macura, Program Director of the RES Foundation
