Project "Thinking ahead" was dedicated to raising awareness of fair energy transition, recognizing the interested parties in this process and presenting this topic to the interested public.

Project's objectives were to define a fair energy transition, to recognize the space for this concept within the legal and strategic framework of Serbia and to initiate dialogue and involve local communities that largely depend on the coal industry.

With this project, we aimed to promote transparency and inclusiveness as key values in the policy-making process. Our intention was to provide important facts through the research that will contribute to argumented dialogue on the topic of energy sector jobs, and to gather interested parties in this process as well as to initiate a dialogue among them. Involving local communities where energy transition is most relevant is an important component of this project.

Project activities are:

- Making an analysis on the topic of challenges and opportunities for a fair energy transition in Serbia

- Initiating and conducting dialogue among interested parties on the topic of fair energy transition

- Working on establishing a network of organizations and individuals advocating a fair energy transition in local communities
