- Belgrade Open School is a member of Working group for creation of draft Action plan for implementation of the Strategy for public administration reform in the Republic of Serbia for period from 2018. to 2020.
- Belgrade Open School conducted a research on public discussions regarding the legal and strategic framework necessary for Serbia’s accession to the European Union. After this, Belgrade Open School continued to regularly monitor and evaluate the practice of public discussions in Serbia’s accession to the European Union.
- Since the establishment of Civil Society Organizations Sector of the Office for European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Belgrade Open School is a leading member of the working group for public administration reform. In this way, BOS will monitor the process and participate in the planning of development assistance in Serbia.
- The Belgrade Open School has a membership in the Special Inter-ministerial Working Group for the preparation of the Second Action Plan for the period 2016 to 2017 and the realization of the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the initiative of the Open Government Partnership. Through this working group, BOS successfully advocated for transparent information booklet and continues to monitor the implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in the Republic of Serbia.
- Belgrade Open School started a permanent campaign for altering the legal framework which enables regular, timely and complete implementation of public discussions.
- BOS has successfully advocated for proactive transparency and opening data in fact sheets, which was completed by opening the data as part of the fact sheets with the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Open Government Partnership initiative in the Republic of Serbia for 2016 and 2017.
- Belgrade Open School conducted research on the transparency of all local governments in Serbia (169), and made available nearly 1500 documents of public concern that had not been published on the local governments’ websites (strategies, public procurement plans, budgets and similar information). The research results, as well as the published documents, can be found on the internet presentation www.dostup.no
- Through the "Local Transparency Booster" project, the capacities of 50 civil society organizations were strengthened for transparency advocating and monitoring, and fighting against corruption at the local level.
- The capacities of 115 local government chief executives were strengthened for increasing their work transparency and improving their Information Booklet through the "Local Transparency Booster" project.
- Belgrade Open School, as an actuator of the initiative for the establishment of ‘’Green councils’’ in local government units in Serbia, singly, or with partners, advocated for the establishment of this body in 11 local government units.
- One year after adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Belgrade Open School conducted the first research of that kind on the legal, strategic and institutional framework in Serbia for achieving these goals.
- Through the "Anti-corruption Student Network in South East Europe" project, the concept of corruption in high education was brought into public discourse in the Serbian public thanks to the efforts of the Belgrade Open School. Prior to this, the corruption phenomenon was linked to other fields, but not high education.
- Membership in the Inter-ministerial project group for expert coordination and monitoring of the Public Administration Reform Strategy in the Republic of Serbia implementation process, for the 2015-2017 period, as civil society representatives, along with other organizations.
- Belgrade Open School is a pioneer in research regarding work perception of regional development agencies in Serbia. We conducted the first research of that kind in Serbia in 2013.
