“Without Dialogue we cannot have democratic reforms, improve the rule of law and promote human rights. This is why the mentorship and financial support is crucial for civil society organizations who will in the upcoming period actively work on resolving key society problems in their community through program Dialogue of Change” is the conclusion of the informational session from 11.5.2021. via Zoom platform and BOS Youtube channel.
Info-session was two-fold. First, the program “Dialogue of Change” was presented with the terms and conditions for applying for the grant support. Attention was drawn to the most important elements for a successful project proposal. Participants also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the selection process and deadlines for each of its steps.
After the presentation of the project and the Grant scheme, Ivan Topalovic, Project Manager and Vladimir M. Pavlovic, Senior Policy Advisor from BOS, answered questions from representatives of CSOs interested in submitting project ideas. The info-session was attended by around 100 interested participants.

Dialogue for Change is a project aimed at improving practices and access to dialogue between representatives of civil society and public authorities in order to solve problems in the community and improve public policies. In the next three years, 40 associations and 30 researchers will be financially supported, and through mentoring support more than 100 representatives of associations and 60 representatives of local governments and ministries of the Government of the Republic of Serbia will be empowered to participate in dialogue to solve specific problems and support reforms in European integration.
The project is supported by the European Union and will be implemented in the period from 2021 to 2023. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Societal Dialogue, the Republic Secretariat for Public Policies, the EU Public Policy Center at the University of Belgrade, the International Olof Palme Center, and the Office for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
