Through providing civil society organizations with mentoring support, The Belgrade Open School assists them in capacity building and implementation of specific activities aiming at responsible policy making in accordance to the needs of the community. Mentoring support is based on the Belgrade Open School’s previous experience and achieved results in advocating a sustainable and responsible process of policy making and evidence-based decision making, as well as on the experience in networking and building sustainable partnerships.

Mentoring support is based on the development needs and plans of civil society organizations. The support is based on a partnership approach, equity and shared learning through practical efforts in the institutional development of the organization, as well as on its specific activities.

In this way, the Belgrade Open School provides civil society organizations with the opportunity to contribute more efficiently and effectively to problem-solving, participate in the decision-making process and policy making in the areas of their operation.
