Belgrade Open School (BOS) held three info sessions to present the new Call for project proposals in the scope of Civil Society and Media Support Program in the field of European Integration (Programme), within the project "Civil Society for the European Union – CS4EU". The Info sessions were held on July 31 in the Media Center in Belgrade, on August 2 in Radio Cafe in Belgrade and July 4, 2017 in the Media and Reform Center in Niš. More than 120 representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) and media attended the presentation.

For all of those who were not present at the info session, answers on questions asked during the info sessions are available on transformator.bos.rs (F.A.Q.), like other general information about the Programme and project itself (available on Serbian language only).

Info sessions were held within the scope of Civil Society and Media Support Program in the field of European Integration. The program lasts for three years from October 2016 to October 2019 and includes two program activities: 1. Support to CS4EU Programme Partners; 2. Capacity Building and Networking Program. Support to CS4EU Programme Partners implies financial support for at least 15 CSOs and media and is implemented through core support (for at least 5 CSOs and media) and project support (for at least 5 CSO and 5 media projects). Total budget for financial support to CSOs and media in the 2017/2018 of the Program is 1,400,000 SEK, which is approximately 150,000 EUR.

The project “Civil Society for the European Union – CS4EU" is implemented by Belgrade Open School with the support of Sweden. The goal of the project is to contribute to EU integration and democratic development of Serbia based on increased role of civil society. Control and corrective role of CSOs and media is a prerequisite for establishing and strengthening the principles of rule of law and the protection of human rights that underlie the process of EU integration.
