On Friday, October 29, 2021, in the premises of the Belgrade Open School, a meeting was held with the representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia - program manager Ekmel Cizmecioglu, as well as the head of cooperation, Nicola Bertolini.
Executive director Milorad Bjeletić, senior policy advisor Vladimir Pavlović, programme manager Mirjana Jovanović and project coordinator Marina Lukić were in front of the Belgrade Open School.
The BOS team first presented its work so far and its role in improving public policies and strangthening the capacity of civil society, and then the participants discussed the state of the civil sector in the Republic of Serbia.
In this regard, the meeting focused on two important projects supported by the EU Delegation within the Belgrade Open School: "Dialogue of Change" and "Green Incubator". Both projects aim at the development of civil society, which contributes to the reform processes and integration of Serbia into the European Union - the first through the cooperation of civil society organizations and public authorities, the second through solving challenges in the field of environmental protection.
In the conclusions of the meeting, Ekmel Cizmecioglu pointed out that the EU Delegation to Serbia recognizes the role of BOS in improving and strengthening the capacity of the civil sector in Serbia, and that BOS sees a reliable partner in the common goal - improving the European perspective of Serbia.
