PolitiKAS participants as volunteers during the state of emergency

SOLIDARITY IS IMPORTANT.

From the moment the state of emergency was declared in Serbia, which is why the activities on the PolitiKAS educational programme had to be temporarily stopped, our students used that time to put their solidarity and humanity into action.

When a measure of home isolation and a ban on moving to our oldest citizens, came into effect in mid-March, PolitiKAS education program participants sought to help those most in need with their engagement.

Through volunteer work, the students participated in delivering food, medicines, packing and delivering assistance packages and other items to our oldest fellow citizens.

They were engaged in volunteer activities on the territory of municipalities of Srbobran, Belgrade, Pančevo, Novi Sad, Žabalj, trying to, at least, slightly mitigate the consequences of this crisis for those most affected.

By protecting one another, we protect society as a whole.
