Belgrade Open School (BOS) in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Fondation (KAS) and Eduardo Frei Fondation (EFF), has marked the beginning of a one-year educational programme PolitiKAS for XI generation with the School of Teamwork. School of Teamwork was held from 17th till 20th of September, at the “Borkovac” hotel in Ruma.

Belgrade Open School (BOS) in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Fondation (KAS) and Eduardo Frei Fondation (EFF), has marked the beginning of a one-year educational programme PolitiKAS for XI generation with the School of Teamwork. School of Teamwork was held from 17^th till 20^th of September, at the “Borkovac” hotel in Ruma.

The XI generation of the programme has gathered 20 representatives of political parties and civil society organizations, which are promoting and representing center right and Christian democracy values through their work.

Participants had the opportunity of participating in discussions during lectures, workshops and simulations dedicated to topics that are of value to their future social and professional engagement. Sessions at the School were directed primarily to raising knowledge and skills regarding teamwork, roles and processes within a team and mutual understanding. The most important were the issues of communication within the team, the manner of decision making and the assertive resolution of problems and conflicts within the team. Additionally, part of the School of Teamwork was dedicated to training students about academic writing, bearing in mind that at the end of both semesters within the program, they are expected to write academic essays that cover topics covered in lectures. On another note, Jos Danissen and Mustafa Ball, EFF trainers, held an interactive lecture on the subject of Christian democracy. Besides that, the differences between individual and political values have been pointed out, as well as the differences between political values and values of a political parties.  

The informal part of the School has provided a better understanding and connection of the participants. In addition to the optional socializing, dynamic and interactive extracurricular activities contributed to this.

Representatives of BOS as well as representative of KAS Gordana Pilipović, welcomed the new generation of the PolitiKAS programme with an opening speech. The trainers of the School were Vesna Djukic, general director of BOS, Milorad Bjeletic, executive director of BOS, Vladimir Pavicevic, academic advisor of BOS, and Jos Danissen and Mustafa Ball, EFF trainers.

The first semester and its modules - Politics I and Economic and Social Policy begin on Tuesday September 24^th.
