Representatives of the Belgrade Open School (BOS) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), on Tuesday, May 29^th, 2018, in the premises of KAS, ceremonially awarded the certificates to participants of the IX generation of the educational program "PolitiKAS". Gordana Pilipovic from KAS addressed the participants and Danijela Grubnic, coordinator of the educational program "PolitiKAS" from BOS. They emphasized that they were especially pleased that all sixteen participants fulfilled all their obligations and successfully completed the program.

Before the start of the special lecture and the ceremonial awarding of diplomas, the participants had an interesting activity of educational character. Together with the art historian Anne Samardzic, they visited important historical sights in Kralja Petra Street, the street where the KAS representative office is located. This street in Belgrade is well known, but it may also be the best example of joining various architectural buildings, which have been subjected to the influence of different political agendas throughout our history.

After this walking tour, the participants had the opportunity to discuss in an always inspiring way, with great Vladimir Pavicevic on the important political topic "Is EU enlargement possible by 2025". During the lecture, participants talked with the lecturer about how realistic it is for Serbia becomes a full member of the EU by 2025, what are the challenges that are ahead of Serbia and its EU path, but also how all future reforms will affect the citizens of Serbia, as well as many other relevant topics.

Participants in the academic year 2017/2018 on the education program "PolitiKAS", had the opportunity to listen to lectures within four teaching modules, in two semesters. In the first semester, participants attended lectures on modules of Politics I and European Integration, while in the second semester they attended lectures on modules Politics II and Economic and Social Policy. The modules were intended to develop additional knowledge in the field of politics, European integration, economic and social development of the society. During the program with colleagues and lecturers, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences and discuss various topics.

The open-call for the next jubilee X generation of participants will be announced in August 2018.
