On Tuesday, September 19^th,2017, lectures on the educational program "PolitiKAS" for the IX generation began. Milorad Bjeletic, Executive Director of the Belgrade Open School, Gordana Pilipovic, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Vladimir Pavlovic, Head of the European Integration Module, and Danijela Grubnic, Educational Program Coordinator "PolitiKAS", addressed and welcomed this year's participants.

After the greeting, a lecture was given by Professor Ilija Vujcic, who talked with participants about political ideologies with a reference to conservatism. Within the first lecture on the module Politics I, the participants had the opportunity to hear and learn more about conservatism and how it shapes the political agenda of the parties today and how much influence it has on contemporary events, both on the domestic and international political scene.

The second lecture was held by Vladimir Medjak, from the European Movement of Serbia, who talked with the participants about the Stabilization and Association Process and how far Serbia moved on its European path. The ever-present topic of European integration has sparked a very interesting discussion and a series of questions from the entire teaching group.

This year fall semester is reserved for the modules Politics I and European Integration, where participants will have the opportunity to talk with different lecturers about current topics as well as skills that can contribute to their academic and professional work.

IX generation of education program PolitiKAS, in academic 2017/2018, has 16 students.

The educational programme "PolitiKAS" is intended for young leaders from Serbia, representatives of political parties of the right centre and moderate right-wing and activists of civil society organizations who advocate these values in their work. The aim of this two-semester educational programme is, on the one hand, to provide students with additional knowledge in the field of contemporary political theory and practice, that will contribute to the improvement of their political work, and on the other hand, networking of the participants to encourage their cooperation important for successful advocacy of ideas and values of their organizations.
