The Belgrade Open School (BOS) in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) marked the beginning of a one-year joint meeting for participants of the IX generation of the educational program "PolitiKAS" by holding the School of Teamwork from 6^th to 8^th September 2017 in Sabac.

With the series of lectures, workshops and simulations within the School of Teamwork, at the premises of the hotel "Sloboda" in Sabac, this year's educational program "PolitiKAS" has started. The ninth generation of programmme brings together 16 participants from political parties, non-governmental and student organizations that represent the values of the moderate right in their work. Participants had the opportunity to participate in discussions, lectures and workshops dedicated to a number of themes of relevance to their future social engagement. Activities at the School were dedicated to raising knowledge and skills on teamwork issues, or topics such as the different roles that exist within the team, the process of forming and managing the team.

The most important were the issues of communication within the team, the manner of decision making and the assertive resolution of problems and conflicts within the team. Additionally, part of the School of Teamwork was dedicated to training students about academic writing, bearing in mind that at the end of both semesters within the program, they are expected to write academic essays that cover topics covered in lectures.

The informal part of the School has provided a better understanding and connection of the participants. In addition to the optional socializing, dynamic and interactive extracurricular activities contributed to this.

The trainers of the School of Teamwork were Vesna Djukic, BOS General Director, Milorad Bjeletic, Executive Director of BOS and Vladimir Pavicevic, Academic Advisor of BOS.

Lectures on the program will officially begin on September 19^th and the first semester is devoted to the modules of Politics I and European Integration. On these two modules, participants will participate in discussions and workshops on the meaning of politics, political order, and political culture, also on the institutional and legal order of the European Union.
