Representatives of the Belgrade Open School (BOS) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) ceremonially awarded certificates to participants of the VIII generation of the educational program "PolitiKAS" on Tuesday, May 16^th 2017 at the KAS premises, after which a special lecture was given by the professor Ivo Viskovic from the Faculty of Political Science.

At the certificate awarding ceremony participants were addressed by the director of KAS Norbert Bekman-Dirkes, Gordana Pilipovic from KAS, BOS's executive director Milorad Bjeletic and Danijela Grubnic, coordinator of the educational program "PolitiKAS" from BOS. They emphasized that they were especially pleased that all twenty-five participants fulfilled all their obligations and successfully completed the program.

After the certificate awarding ceremony, Professor Viskovic, who was selected by the participants as the best lecturer on the program, gave a special lecture on a topic "How to get the Best Foreign Policy for Serbia".

On the same day, the participants had the opportunity to talk to the Negotiating Team for Negotiating the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. The head of the negotiating team, Tanja Miscevic, with whom the participants had the opportunity to talk during the lecture in the spring semester, presented the negotiating team on this occasion, after which they talked with the participants about where Serbia is currently in the accession negotiations, as well as many other relevant topics.

Participants of the educational program “PolitiKAS” in the academic year 2016/2017, had the opportunity to listen to lectures within four teaching modules, within two semesters. In the first semester, participants attended lectures on Modules Politics I and European Integration, while in the second semester they attended lectures on Modules Politics II and Economic and Social Policy. The modules were intended to develop additional knowledge in the field of politics, European integration, economic and social development of the society. During the program with colleagues and lecturers, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences and discuss on various topics.

The Open-Call for the generation of this program will be announced in September 2017.
