PolitiKAS: The Beginning of Spring Semester

On Tuesday, February 7th 2017, the spring semester of the PolitiKAS education program was opened for academic year 2016/2017. Within this semester, participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures on Modules Politics II and Economic and Social Policy.

On this occasion, Gordana Pilipovic from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Milorad Bjeletic, Executive Director of the Belgrade Open School, and the managers of the Module Politics II Ena Babic from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and Module Economic and Social Policy, Marko Malovic from the Institute of Economic Sciences, addressed the participants of the VIII generation.

The spring semester started with the lecture "The Basics of International Relations and Diplomacy" on the Module Politics II, held by Dragan Zivojinovic from the Faculty of Political Science. Lecture on the Module Economic and Social Policy was held by Vladan Ivanovic from the Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac, on the topic "Social Market Economy".

Lectures in this semester will be related to Fiscal Policy, Economic Development Policy, Labor Market and Unemployment, Protection of Personal Data and Information of Public Importance, Human and Minority Rights and their International Protection, Economic and Social Policy of the European Union, but also there will be words about many other topics that are important for further non-formal education of the participants of the VIII Generation of the educational program "PolitiKAS", which are representatives of political parties and organizations.

In this semester, besides lecture attendance, participants will have an obligation to write essays on the given topics from both modules. The semester ends with the delivery of the certificates to the students, as well as with a special lecture that students will have the opportunity to choose in May 2017.
