Participants of educational programme "PolitiKAS" had the opportunity to hear speakers on modules "Politics I" and "European integration" during the first semester of the academic 2011/2012.

The aim of the module „Politics I“ was to inform participants about the meaning of politics, the political system and political culture and its diverse social, cultural and history. In addition, special attention was devoted to talking about the values that underpin modern democratic communities. As a result, it had to accomplish to point out the different segments of the democratic organization of society and the state, development of democratic values and beliefs.

The aim of the module "European Integration" was to build capacity and strengthen participants by providing knowledge on the institutional and legal order of European Union, how to create practical policies and decision-making, and finally, the most important aspects of the process and Serbia's accession to the European Union. Considerable attention was paid to the issues of European identity and the development of European ideas in political thought.

Participants were obliged to write the essay on both modules.
