PolitiKAS: Start of the Academic Year at the Educational Programme
Participants of the 8th generation on educational programme "PolitiKAS" began with the activities on the programme on Tuesday, 4 October 2016. Before the first lecture, the participants were addressed and welcomed by Milorad Bjeletic, Executive Director of The Belgrade Open School, Gordana Pilipovic, from the Konrad AdenauerFoundation, Vladimir Pavicevic, who is in charge of module Politics I, Vladimir Pavlovic, who is in charge of module European Integrations and Danijela Grubnic, coordinator of the educational programme "PolitiKAS".
After the presentation of the participants, Vladimir Pavicevic from the Faculty of Political Sciences talked with the students on the topic "Politics and Political Theory: Issues and Category".
Vladimir Medjak, a member of the negotiating team for negotiations on the accessions of Serbia to the European Union opened the module European Integrations. He talked with the participants about Serbia’s path to the EU and challenges that we are expecting.
Participants in the educational programme "PolitiKAS" will have the opportunity to talk with various speakers on topics within modules Policy and European Integrations during the fall semester of the academic year 2016/2017. year. The fall semester of the programme ends on December 6th 2016.
25 participants of the VIII generation will attend this programme.
The educational programme "PolitiKAS" is intended for young leaders from Serbia, representatives of political parties of the right centre and moderate right-wing and activists of civil society organizations who advocate these values in their work. The aim of this two-semester educational programme is, on the one hand, to provide students with additional knowledge in the field of contemporary political theory and practice, that will contribute to the improvement of their political work, and on the other hand, networking of the participants to encourage their cooperation important for successful advocacy of ideas and values of their organizations.
