Aleksandra Djurovic, Research Coordinator of the Belgrade Open School, has become part of the Pool of European Youth Researchers (PEYR), which operates as a research institution in the field of youth needs and policies.
PEYR represents a common initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission. The initiative consists of 35 researchers who are working on various youth related topics. PEYR members were selected on the basis of a 2017 Open call. Although the PEYR initiative is used by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, it is also open to other stakeholders that can contribute to it with adequate expertise and knowledge.
Alongside of providing expert support and knowledge on demand, members of this network meet once a year to discuss challenges in order to further investigate the position, rights and needs of youth and to contribute to the policy initiatives of the two institutions.
One of the experts in the PEYR is Aleksandra Đurović, Research Coordinator of the Belgrade Open School. The complete list of PEYR members can be found here.
