The last, sixth meeting of partners within the project "3D Modelling Curriculum and Applications for 3D Printers and Tabs for VET Schools" was held on 14th and 16th of November 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. Moreover, in the same period of time the study visit for VET teachers was organized, during which they had opportunity to learn more about application of 3D technologies.
The aim of the study visit was to gain knowledge about opportunities regarding use of 3D printers in education through lectures and workshops. The visit to organization which makes medical equipment and jewellery using 3D printers as well as visit to 3D café in which visitors can print objects.
During the meeting, partners discussed realized activities within the project. A special attention was given to evaluation of results of piloting of created learning materials on 3D printing, which was conducted in five countries.
The project is realized by the Tuzla Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey) in cooperation with the following partners: Belgrade Open School (Serbia), Marmara University Faculty of Technology (Turkey), Timarge Mechatronics Ltd. Co. (Turkey), Interprojects (Bulgaria), Nottingham Trent University School of Science & Technology (UK) Prosena SA (Portugal).
This project is supported by the Program Erasmus+ (Key Action: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, Strategic Partnerships for VET education). The project is carried out from 1st of December 2016 to 30th of November 2018.
