Consultative meeting about social policy, employment, entrepreneurship, industrial policy, education and culture was held in Kruševac on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Meeting was organized by the Belgrade Open School and Educational Centre Kruševac.
During the meeting it was discussed about young people’s access to the labour market as a prerequisite for Serbia’s accession to the European Union, service packages for young people and inter-sectoral model of career development in high schools in Kruševac.
Speakers were Violeta Stevović and Ilija Jovanović from the Educational Centre Kruševac, and Milica Škiljević and Vanja Dolapčev on behalf of the Belgrade Open School. They discussed, together with participants, what are current challenges and perspectives for the improvement of the employability of youth in Serbia. Representatives of the civil society organizations, vocational high schools, national employment service and Regional Development Agency for Rasina District also shared their experiences with the participants.
A consultative meeting named "Interdisciplinary Model of Career Development and Strengthening Youth Employability" was held in the Kruševac Theater. The meeting is a part of the project "Let’s Speak about Negotiations", and is conducted by Belgrade Open School and the ‘’Forca’’ organization from Požega, with the support of the Open Society Foundation Serbia.
The Educational Center Kruševac is one of the five organizations with which the Belgrade Open School cooperates within the project "Let’s Speak about Negotiations". The goal is to inform citizens about the process of Serbia's accession to the EU and to raise their capacities for active participation in the process.
