Since 2004 Belgrade Open School develops public policies in the process of Serbia's accession to the EU by strengthening dialogue, building partnerships and education of agents of social change for adoption of European standards and values. BOS encourages open dialogue on European integration, with an aim to inform citizens and to educate them on their rights and obligations. BOS strives to secure certain level of citizen participation in creating public policies. BOS contributes to engaging of local communities in accession process of Serbia to EU and advocates transparent and accountable public authorities.

Today, trough five-year long initiative “Let’s Speak about the Negotiations” BOS aims to contribute to the Europeanization of Serbia through the promoting transparent and accountable process of EU accession negotiations based on dialogue and partnership between civil society and public authorities.
