On the study trip, members of the BOŠ team had the opportunity to attend the international conference " Days of Four Freedoms of the European Union", which took place at the premises of the Harghita County Council in Miercurea Ciuc. The aim of the conference was to get acquainted with the freedoms of the European Union and their functioning in practice, with a special focus on youth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills and abilities. At the outset, the conference was opened by the Vice President of the Harghita County Council, who stressed the existence of skepticism among the people of Romania when it comes to the opportunities offered by the aforementioned freedoms, but also what people can get, and most of all young people. He also pointed out that Romania is developing various mechanisms for attracting young people and investments in agriculture in order to employ a large number of people.
The central part of the conference was the debate on the benefits that can be provided by the four freedoms of the European Union, especially when it comes to young entrepreneurs. Participants in the debate Csak Laszlo, Director of the Plantificatio Company and Kozma Istvan, President of the Federation of Youth Organizations of the Ciuc region, talked about the possibility of young people in Romania and agreed that the process of starting their own business is not simple, but there are mechanisms that help the process itself, which should be further developed. In addition to the debate, the participants also had the opportunity to hear stories from successful young entrepreneurs in Romania, who represented their companies and business, but also the challenges that were encountered in the process and the ways in which they were fought.
