- Belgrade Open School organized a two-day regional conference "WeB4YES - Western Balkan CSOs for Youth Employment Support", which gathered more than 250 participants from the Western Balkan region and Europe.

- Standards for career guidance and counseling services developed through the work of a working group initiated by the Belgrade Open School are adopted. Through its participation, BOS has provided expert support to the process of creating standards for lifelong career guidance as a prerequisite for improving the quality of career guidance and counseling in Serbia.
- Belgrade Open School organized the Fifth Fair of School Career Guidance and Counseling Teams, which brought together 17 high school representatives from all over Serbia, as well as more than 100 visitors.
- Developed and tested innovative models for implementation of aims of education and employment policies, including the Model for virtual internships in VET and the online platform for the organization and management of virtual internships, Model for mentorship of young people from vulnerable groups and Methodology for the work of facilitators who conduct training with migrants (Handbook for facilitators – Serbian language, civic and intercultural education).

- Conducted four research studies on the topic of youth employability, active labour market measures for young people, enabling environment for youth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial learning. Research results were discussed with the relevant representatives of public institutions, business sector and civil society within two meetings of the National fora for youth employment, which was established as a platform for structured dialogue between key stakeholders.
- Conducted comparative analyses on the topic of youth employment and entrepreneurship public policies in the Western Balkans. Conclusions and recommendations of comparative analyses were discussed within the Regional Forum on Youth Employment, held in Skopje on 20 and 21.06.2018 and within the Regional Forum on Youth Entrepreneurship held 20 and 21.11.2018. in Durres, Albania. Based on the conducted analysis four regional policy briefs on the topics of youth employability, active labour market measures for young people, enabling environment for youth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial learning were produced.
- Through organizing International Interns Day in 2017 and 2018 in Belgrade, which gathered dozens of young people, students, representatives of youth organizations, career centres, high schools and faculties BOS contributed to raising awareness on the significance of quality internships.
- Through workshops for career development in 2017 and 2018 developed career management skills of over 1080 secondary school students.
- Standards of career guidance and counselling services developed through work of the working group established through the initiative of Belgrade Open School. Through participation in the working group, BOS has provided expert support for lifelong career guidance as a prerequisite for the development of quality in the career guidance and counselling field in Serbia.
- Through conducting a research study on career guidance and counselling in 2018 supported work of the working group for the development of the bylaw of the Law on Dual Education which regulates work of teams for career guidance and counselling in schools which have dual education programmes.
- In order to strengthen the capacities of the career guidance and counseling teams in schools, the Belgrade Open School team has developed and accredited three new teacher training programs at the Institute for the Advancement of Education.
- For the fourth year in a row, Belgrade Open School (BOS) organized a Fair of School Teams for Career Guidance and Counseling, which brought together 19 school teams.
- Through conducting research on career guidance and counseling and work-based learning in 2018, BOS supported the Work group for draft a by-law of the Dual Education Act, which regulates the work of career guidance and counseling teams in schools who implement dual education system.
- Belgrade Open School brought together about 30 representatives of key public institutions, civil society organizations and the business sector at a constituent meeting of the "National Youth Employment Forum"
- 26 teachers and professional associates from Rade Metalac Technical School and Đuka Dinic School of Economics from Leskovac attended basic training for career guidance and counseling
- Through mentorship training conducted in 2015 and 2016, a total number of 30 mentors from companies doing business in Serbia were empowered to organize and implement quality traineeship programs.
- The research results on the effects of career guidance and counseling on youth employability showed that after the second assessment, i.e. 3 months after career guidance and counseling services had been provided, employability of young people who had used the career guidance and counseling services was, on all parameters, higher than the employability of young people who hadn’t used these services. This research was conducted in 2014/15.
- The Workgroup for Developing the Career Guidance and Counseling Service Standards was formed at the initiative of the Belgrade Open School. The Institute for the Advancement of Education formed a workgroup at the request of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, which was preceded by intensive advocating of BOS for continuity in the implementation of career guidance policies.
- The evaluation of the traineeship programs' effects done in 2016, and organized by the Belgrade Open School, showed that 88% of young people who had completed their traineeships in state institutions were employed, while 73% of the young people who had completed their traineeships in partner business organizations were employed 6 months after completing their traineeships.
- The analysis of the plans and programs of the high school career guidance and counseling teams that the BOS team conducted during 2016, showed the established structure and activities that schools plan in regards to career guidance and counseling, as well as the fields important for further development.
- Those who practice career guidance and counseling in high schools got the chance to network, exchange experiences with colleagues from other cities across Serbia and to present their achievements and work challenges they face through School Teams for Career Guidance and Counseling Fairs and the National Annual Career Guidance and Counseling Conference, organized by the Belgrade Open School. Both events were held in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and there were around 600 participants present. School Teams for Career Guidance and Counseling Fair was organized in 2018 and 2019 as well and gathered around 200 participants.
- The standards framework of career guidance and counseling for students in Serbia was developed thanks to the efforts of a group of experts from the country and from abroad, which was coordinated by BOS during the 2012-2014 period.
- The concept of peer career informing as services that can be provided in youth offices, with the purpose of empowering young people to make informed decisions about their further career development, was devised by the BOS team and successfully implemented in 60 youth offices across Serbia during the 2008-2013 period.
