The aim of this document is to contribute to the discussion regarding the widespread problem of the absence of quality standards for internships. The main recommendation is that quality standards should be included in the National Internship Program of Serbia in order to provide guidelines for the organization of all internships. In this way, young people are given an opportunity to develop transversal skills through quality internship programs and sustainable partnerships between young people, education and business sector are promoted.
