Since the beginning of the refugee crisis, many countries were faced with the bigger inflow of refugee population which needed different support mechanisms – from law support to educational activities.
ALMIT - Acceleration Of Labor Market Integration Of Immigrants Through Mapping Of Skills And Trainings project aims to find ways to facilitate the integration of migrants into the labor market and during the project, will be piloted several courses of Serbian language, and civic and intercultural skills sessions. The project is realized during the period of January 2018 to June 2020, in four countries – Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Austria.
Second partner meeting was held from 19 to 20 of March in Belgrade, Serbia which was attended by representatives of Sofia University “St.Kliment Ohridski” (Bulgaria), Zgura-M Ltd.(Bulgaria),
ÖJAB – Österreichische Jungarbeiterbewegung (Austria), Philanthropy, Charitable Foundation of the Serbian Orthodox Church (Serbia), Municipality of Sid (Serbia), Belgrade Open School, (Serbia), Düzce Governorship (Turkey) Düzce İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü (Turkey). In the meeting, partners represented so far results, as well as challenges partners faced with and good practices examples.
Besides that, partners presented plans for future activities. In the next period, partners will create Competence recording tool, and also will organize meetings with local entrepreneurs and immigrants who want to stay in some of partners country.
