On October 27th, in Belgrade Open School a one-day training for interns within the project “PRAKSAM – Introducing the youth to the world of work through internship placements” was held. The training was attended by 14 interns from 11 companies.
The aim of the training was to empower interns for the challenges that are awaiting them during internship and further career. At the first session, they discussed with career counsellor Tamara Stanojevic, about the significance of this internship for their further career development and also to get feedback about their appearance on the interviews. Jelena Manic Radoicic, Program manager of BOS, gave them useful techniques and advices about assertive communication. With Evica Kuc, business communications manager of BOS, they could advance their business communication skills. Bojana Jevtovic, project coordinator, has presented them useful methods and techniques for successful time management.
The project "PRAKSAM – Introducing youth to the world of work through internship placements“ is implemented by Belgrade Open School and in partnership with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and American Chamber and Commerce (AmCham), with the financial support of the Ministy of Youth and Sports.
